WEAR A FUN SWIM CAP WEEKEND!

As part of Senior, National and Masters fundraising initiative, they are running a ‘wear a fun swim hat’, in exchange for a donation to Atlantis, over this coming weekend 15-17th December at the Pavilions. Squad reps will be able to collect any donations poolside throughout all squad sessions. Thank you for your continued support.

AND IN OTHER NEWS…………………………………..

This is the biggest initiative of the year

** a 24 hour swimathon **

This has been a long process to ensure the correct procedures are in place – risk assessments and safeguarding issues have been carried out. We have permission from the Pavilions and lifeguards and duty managers that are willing to work through the night, giving up their time for free to help us.

The swim will start at 12noon on the 21st December and end at 12noon on the 22nd.

Swims will be in 20 minute blocks.

Fun and games throughout with treats/forfeits where supporters can donate an amount for a forfeit eg. wear fins for a small amount of time, or swim an 800 IM etc (worse things come at a higher cost!).

We are looking at the best way to collect sponsorship, possibly Crowdfunder, this will be confirmed later this week.
