What a fabulous bunch of swimmers!

Thank you to all those who took part in our ‘fun-sponsored-5k-run’ today. It was SO hot and each and every one of you absolutely smashed it! See attached photo of some of the participants (unfortunately we did not get everyone in the photo).

Another thank you to all the family and friends who supported their swimmers (either sponsoring, bringing them or running along side them) – it means a lot seeing their faces at the end, knowing they’ve completed this challenge!

We can also confirm that we hit the £400 fundraising target!

We are so proud of you all for getting involved and the great team spirit, and to those who still ran with their former squad buddies – #swimfamily

Huge thank you to our amazing Squad Reps Lorraine, Ed and Anna for all their hard work so far! And to our fabulous coaches, Coach Andrew for running with the swimmers, Head Coach Andy and coach Jane for cheering and supporting during the race and giving super advice to those who swam before-hand!

We hope your swimmers enjoyed the run. They were so impressive and focused and it was lovely to see them being recognised and welcomed so nicely by the Park Run Team

We hope you have had a lovely restful afternoon with plenty of water to keep you hydrated after your morning run! We look forward to seeing you poolside at your next session.

The race across Ecuador has come to an end! Thank you for your support, this event raised £231 (minus associated fees). Although no Atlantis balloons won the Eco racing prizes, we did have balloons that travelled over 58km – congratulations to Taryn and Rachael who came 1st and 2nd out of the whopping 77 Atlantis balloons that floated above South America. Thank you to all our members for your continued support and generosity.
