This Level 3 meet is aimed at all levels of swimmers and will provide a competition opportunity to enable those athletes looking to improve their times and those seeking to achieve times suitable for entry into Regional and County Championships and other meets at level 1 or 2.
Venue: Pavilions in the Park, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 2DF. 25m deck level pool, 8 lanes, electronic timing, anti-wave lane ropes. A secondary strobe is available, if necessary, upon request
Age Groups: 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16+. The meet will be run as “age on the day” for swimmers aged 9 and over on 24th November 2024
Events: 50m, 100m and 200m All Strokes, 100m, 200m and 400m IM & 400m Freestyle. All events will be heat declared winners
Awards: Medals to 1st , 2nd and 3rd in each age group, plus for ages 12 and under Ribbons to 4th , 5th and 6th .
Fees: 50m, 100m & 200m events are £7.50 per entry, 400m events are £10.50 per entry (these entry fees include Regional Levy).
Entries: Entries open on Wednesday 23rd October 2024 at Midday and accepted on first-come first served basis

A quick update and some further info for our Atlantis Christmas Cracker

Withdrawals. As ever, we'd really appreciate any withdrawals as soon as possible please by clicking here and completing our Google Form. Would you please encourage parents/carers wherever possible to notify withdrawals as soon as they can rather than waiting until the last couple of days before the meet? It really helps us to keep the meet running smoothly on the day.
Officials. At present we are still short on numbers (except for session 2) and we would especially welcome further offers of help in sessions 1 and 4. Officials can still use this link to sign up

If we do not have enough officials, we will either need to ask for help from qualified timekeepers (likely to downgrade the meet to Level 4) or run fewer lanes (which would mean rejecting some previously-accepted swimmers to fit within the pool time available). Obviously we are very keen to avoid either of those things.
Additional entries. If there are any last minute requests, we can still have a little lane space in most events, but in sessions 2, 3, 5 and 6 we can offer additional swims only to swimmers already registered for the relevant session.
Car parking. The car park at the Pavilions is very expensive for longer stays on Saturday - further details in the attached. As you can imagine, this is entirely outside of our control.
Nut Allergy. We have been made aware that we have a swimmer attending with a severe nut allergy, so the entire meet will be a nut free zone, thank you for your co-operation and understanding.
